What the 0–100 score means and what a good number looks like.

The health score is a single 0–100 number that summarizes how SEO-ready your site is right now. Beacon combines technical issues, on-page quality, and content signals into one score — think of it like a credit score for your website.

Reading the number

• 70–90 — where most healthy small-business sites land.
• Below 70 — usually means there are critical issues worth fixing this week.
• Above 90 — excellent; focus your energy on content and links rather than technical fixes.

Watch for slow drift. A score that loses a point or two every week often means competitors are improving while your site stands still.
