How Auto-Fix works

The scan → review → apply → undo flow, and which plans include it.

Auto-Fix (Starter, Growth, Autopilot, and Agency plans) connects Beacon directly to your website platform so SEO fixes can be applied for you — no copy-pasting into your CMS. Starter and Growth use manual approval; Autopilot and Agency also offer optional hands-free Auto-apply.

The flow

  1. Connect — open your project's Auto-Fix tab and pick how to connect: any website via the one-line JavaScript snippet (no credentials), a GitHub repository, or a platform connection (WordPress, GoDaddy, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, or Squarespace). Beacon verifies the connection immediately.
  2. Scan — Beacon reads your live content and drafts specific fixes: better titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and more, depending on platform.
  3. Review & apply — every fix shows the current value and the proposed one. Nothing changes until you click Apply on a fix you approve.
  4. Undo — applied fixes can be reverted with one click, restoring the original value.

By default, Beacon never applies anything automatically — you approve every individual change. Starter and Growth always keep this manual review flow. On Autopilot and Agency, if you'd rather be fully hands-free, turn on the Auto-apply toggle on your project's Auto-Fix page: fixes drafted by each scan then go live immediately, and every change stays in your Applied list with one-click undo.

Starter includes 10 successful Auto-Fix applications per calendar month and Growth includes 25. Failed attempts do not count, while Undo does not refund an application. Autopilot and Agency have unlimited applications.

Hands-free mode (Auto-apply)

The Auto-apply toggle lives on the Auto-Fix page next to your site connection on Autopilot and Agency. With it on, each scan applies its drafted fixes right away — no approval step. Everything else works the same: drift protection still skips anything that changed on your site since the scan, every applied change is recorded with its previous value, and one-click Undo remains available. Turn the toggle off at any time to go back to approving each fix yourself.
