Rank check limits

Why there's a daily cap on rank checks and what happens when it's reached.

Checking a live Google position is an expensive operation, so Beacon meters rank checks with a shared daily budget across scheduled refreshes and new keyword additions.

What you'll notice

• Most days, nothing — the budget comfortably covers normal usage.
• If you add a large batch of keywords in one day, the last additions may be declined with a 'daily rank check limit reached' message.
• A declined keyword isn't saved — just add it again the next day, once the budget has reset.

Add your most important keywords first — they'll be checked and saved immediately, and you can add the long tail tomorrow.
